Ministry of Environment Inaugurates New Office and Lodge at Kulen National Park

SIEM REAP: On the morning of August 2, Minister of Environment Say Sam Al officially inaugurated the National Park Office and the "Kesor Kol" lodge in Siem Reap’s Kulen National Park.

Construction on the new office and the lodge began on August 15, 2022 on a total area of ten hectares at the entrance of Kesor Kol Park. The complex is comprised of a large building flanked by two smaller buildings and will accommodate tourists and park rangers alike.

The lodge aims to provide an improved working environment for the rangers in their day-to-day operations. The new office provides information, meeting and training venues, and a safe place to keep confiscated materials.
